iFlowTailor 1.2.0 is out (3 November 2026): Implementation Coach, endpoint catalog, message flow analysis and downtime optimizer. In the works: debugging in the editor and testing without deploying. What’s new → +43 664 1964199Book a demo →
As of version 1.2.0 of 3 November 2026

All features.

What iFlowTailor can do – each feature with the smallest edition that includes it, and with a source. Beta marks features that use an SAP interface that is not publicly documented, or whose write path has not yet been confirmed on a real tenant; In the works marks features that are being built but not yet in any release. A review tool that writes “looks fine” about itself would be a poor start.

Community Coach Pro Team Enterprise Beta In the works

New in 1.2.0 · 3 November 2026

What version 1.2.0 adds.

Version 1.2.0 brings a coach for everyone who wants to build iFlows properly, and four answers to questions nobody in the tenant can otherwise answer: What can be reached from outside? Where does this header come from? Where does the traffic go? And when does downtime hurt least?

  • Implementation Coach.A build plan from inbound to documentation, a check against the open iFlow, Learning path and Versioning advisor. Part of Pro in the app; we propose a Coach edition of its own for it. Coach
  • Endpoint catalog.Every callable endpoint with URL, status and protection, flags for missing role protection, export as a Postman collection. Community
  • Header & property finder, externalised parameters.Where headers are set, read and lost; all parameters as a map and a value matrix, secrets never in plain text. Pro
  • Message Journey as a correlation graph. The messages of one correlation as a graph and a timeline, missing follow-up iFlows as ghost nodes. Pro
  • Message flow analysis.Real traffic as a Sankey diagram from sender through iFlow to receiver, with error hotspots, growth and load peaks. Team
  • Downtime optimizer. The five best maintenance windows for a system, a Cloud Connector or the whole tenant – with a runbook and a calendar entry. Team

Versions 1.1.0 and 1.0.0

  • System map and outage analysis. One click simulates the outage of a system, with a ranking of single points of failure. Team
  • Restart guide. Can the iFlow safely run again, and who triggers the retry?
  • Editions with a badge in the header.Every feature says which edition it belongs to. During the beta the header says “all features”.
  • Security Risk Radar.Eight dimensions for tenant and iFlow, plus log analysis and a vulnerability check.
  • XML Workshop, version history, iFlow from requirements.XSD and XSLT as diagrams, a diff in the process diagram with a changelog, an iFlow from a description – created only after you confirm.

In the works: debug where you build. Test without deploying.

Built and tested, but not yet in any release and so far only checked with test data. All features are listed with their edition below under Debugging and testing, Operations, Ask Tailor and Security.

  • Debugging. The run laid directly onto the diagram with a diff per step and time travel, a good vs. bad run comparison, watched values, a trace switch with countdown and a variable inspector in the Groovy Runner. Pro In the works
  • Testing. The iFlow simulator sends the message through the iFlow locally; plus trace as a regression test, path coverage, contract checks against OpenAPI, WSDL and EDMX, a test suite from the specification, a test gate before deploy and DEV against QA. Pro In the works
  • AI and operations.Root cause search with a checked fix, “Why is field X empty?”, incident report and Ask the monitor in Pro; the Morning briefing in Team. In the works
  • Free for everyone.Stack traces you can actually read, and the Privacy guard, which finds and masks personal data before export and AI. Community In the works

Develop

12 features

Build, review and test – in the context of the iFlow that is open in the editor right now.

  • Community

    Quick Review

Health score 0–100 for the open iFlow, 40 rules in six categories. Each finding comes with a reason, location and fix; a click jumps to the step. Accept risks with a justification, export the report as Markdown.

  • Community

    Payload tools and Groovy Lint

Format, XPath, JSONPath, XSLT, diff, Base64 and GZip. Groovy Lint checks pasted scripts against the rules of the review rule set.

  • Community

    XML Workshop

XSD editor as a node tree, XSLT mapping as a diagram with an expected-vs-actual test, XPath editor with click-to-build paths, XML → XSD and sample payloads from XSD, WSDL, OpenAPI and EDMX.

  • Community

    Test Studio

REST, OData and SOAP with environments, variables and assertions, import from cURL and Postman. On-premise targets via a relay iFlow through the Cloud Connector.

  • Community

    Adapter advisor

Sender and receiver adapters checked against a knowledge base: “current vs. recommended” for each property, with a reason. The Ask Tailor recommendation is part of Pro.

  • Community

    Naming Studio

Generate and check names against a standard, tenant audit with a compliance rate per package. You build the standard in the graphical editor.

  • Community

    Groovy snippets

Commented scripts to copy – headers, attachments, size-capped logging, exception handling – with search.

  • Pro

    Groovy Runner

Run the script open in the editor against a sample payload – on the real CPI runtime, via a runner iFlow in your own tenant, without deploying the actual iFlow.

  • Pro

    Test suites

Saved tests per iFlow with assertions, to run before and after deployment.

  • Pro

    Migration analysis, ISA-M, data lineage

Deprecated adapters and script APIs, classification into ISA-M patterns, the origin of a target field traced through mapping, XSLT and script.

  • Pro

    Documentation generator

Interface documentation per iFlow or package as Markdown, PDF or straight into Confluence – generated from the tenant, so it is up to date.

  • Coach

    Restart guide

Can the iFlow safely run again after an error – and who triggers the retry? A verdict with a score, a numbered build plan that jumps into the editor, a flow diagram and a tenant-wide overview.

Debugging and testing

12 features

Runs right on the diagram, messages sent through the iFlow locally, tests from real runs – built for the next version.

  • ProIn the works

    Inline debugger in the editor

Every run sits right on the diagram: steps green, red or grey, the router branch taken and the duration at every step. A click shows body, headers and properties before and after as a diff; plus time travel step by step and the latest runs in a live bar.

  • ProIn the works

    Run comparison: good vs. bad

The failed run next to a successful one, aligned step by step – with the first difference and its reason: another router branch, a missing header, a different body format.

  • ProIn the works

    Watched values

XPath, JSONPath, header or property as a column across all steps in the Trace Explorer – marking where a value is set, changes or becomes empty.

  • ProIn the works

    Trace switch

Trace for 10 minutes with a countdown, as a confirmed write action with an audit log entry. Opened traces stay in the panel’s memory even after SAP has deleted them.

  • ProIn the works

    Variable inspector

See line by line in the Groovy Runner what value each variable, header and property holds – with step forward and back and a body diff against the previous state.

  • ProIn the works

    iFlow simulator

The message runs through the iFlow locally, without deploying: Content Modifier, router, filter, converters, splitter, XSLT and process calls. Receivers come from mocks; steps that cannot be simulated are marked.

  • ProIn the works

    Trace as a regression test

A real run becomes a test after a preview and your confirmation – sensitive and volatile values removed, stored locally only, runnable against the simulator.

  • ProIn the works

    Path coverage

Which router branches, Exception Subprocesses and Local Processes never ran in the period? As a list, a diagram and Markdown.

  • ProIn the works

    Contract check

Checks the iFlow against OpenAPI, WSDL or EDMX – paths, operations, mandatory fields, mapping – and generates boundary tests as a collection in the Test Studio.

  • ProIn the works

    Test suite from the specification

The mapping specification in Excel or CSV becomes test cases with XPath checks and a sample input, compared with the mapping or XSLT: missing target fields, rules that are not implemented.

  • ProIn the works

    Test gate before deploy

Review score, the latest test suite run and critical findings as a badge on the Deploy button; on request the gate asks before deploying. It never blocks; with Team it can be set by policy.

  • ProIn the works

    DEV against QA

The same request or a whole collection sent to two environments; status, headers, body and runtime compared, volatile values such as timestamps and UUIDs ignored.

Operations

19 features

Errors by cause, deployments, certificates, messages and load – without paging through the monitor.

  • Community

    Error analysis

Failed messages grouped by cause instead of one by one, with a suggested fix from a knowledge base of known CPI errors.

  • Community

    Deployments with drift

Design time against runtime: changed since deployment, failed deployments, drafts in the runtime.

  • Community

    Certificates

Expiry traffic light with calendar export and usage down to the step.

  • Community

    Message Monitor and runtime data

Messages with filters and counters, Data Stores, variables, Number Ranges, JMS and log files – read-only.

  • CommunityBeta

Data Store and Message Store per iFlow

The iFlow’s stores with steps, expiry and retention; entries and content on click, held in memory only. Content is read through an interface of the web UI.

  • Pro

    Trace Explorer and Message Journey

Payload and headers step by step, diff between steps, messages followed across ProcessDirect, JMS and correlation ID.

  • Pro

    Runtime heatmap and performance

Runtime per step in the diagram, percentiles per iFlow, the slowest steps.

  • Pro

    Not deployed

Everything that has been changed but not deployed – with a notice right in the editor.

  • Pro

    Message forecast

Volume for 7 or 30 days and per hour, with range, peaks, the quietest window and measured forecast accuracy.

  • Pro

    Correlation graph

The messages of one correlation as a graph and timeline: hand-overs, branches, missing follow-up iFlows and the critical path – linked by correlation ID, application ID or a custom header. Plus all correlations of the last hour or 24 hours.

  • Community

    Endpoint catalog

All callable endpoints of deployed artifacts in one place: URL, protocol, status and protection. Flags missing role protection and duplicate paths, export as Markdown, CSV or Postman collection.

  • TeamBeta

    Message Usage

Billable and exempt messages per day and month, projection to the end of the month, quota with a warning threshold.

  • TeamBeta

    Access Policies and Number Ranges

Which roles protect which packages, gaps in sensitive packages; Number Range usage and when a range is likely to run out.

  • Team

    Downtime optimizer

The best window for planned downtime of a system, a Cloud Connector or the whole tenant: the five best windows with expected messages, affected iFlows and timer runs, plus a runbook and a calendar entry.

  • CommunityIn the works

    Stack trace decoder

Instead of 80 lines of Java: the actual cause, script file and line, the affected step and the typical fix per exception class. Offline, without AI.

  • ProIn the works

Root cause search with a checked fix

Error, deployment time, version diff, the same error in other iFlows and the keystore as weighted candidates with evidence. Ask Tailor suggests a fix; iFlowTailor checks it on a copy before you see it.

  • ProIn the works

    Incident report

Timeline, impact, severity and probable cause from the message processing logs of a period – ready as Markdown or Jira text.

  • ProIn the works

    Ask the monitor

“Failures from yesterday to customer 4711 over 5 s” becomes an editable filter that you see before the query runs. German and English; Ask Tailor only as a fallback.

  • TeamIn the works

    Morning briefing

What was unusual since last night: error spikes, iFlows failing for the first time, new error patterns, missing timer runs – measured against the same hours on previous days.

Tenant and architecture

10 features

Search, compare and understand across all iFlows – the picture nobody else keeps up to date.

  • Community

    Dependencies

Systems, adapters, ProcessDirect and JMS chains, parameters, scripts and mappings of an iFlow as a graph.

  • Pro

    Tenant index and grep

Full-text search across all iFlows, scripts, XSLTs and mappings: where is this field, this header, this URL used?

  • Pro

    Tenant Compare

DEV against QA against PRD: versions, parameters and deployments side by side, differences highlighted.

  • Pro

    Version Diff and changelog

Version history as a timeline, diff in the process diagram, a changelog suggestion right in SAP’s “Save as Version” dialog.

  • Pro

    Header and property finder

Where in the tenant is this header or property set and read? Across Content Modifiers, scripts and expressions, passed on via ProcessDirect and JMS – including “read but never set”.

  • Pro

    Externalised parameters

All externalised parameters of all iFlows: unused, without a value, same key with different values. As a map, a value matrix and by family, with a live check of the configured values. Secrets never in plain text.

  • Team

    Tenant Health

Tenant metrics with trend: score, naming compliance, error rate, expiring certificates, unused artifacts.

  • Team

    Landscape and cleanup

A system map of the tenant and candidates for cleanup, each with a reason – nothing is ever deleted automatically.

  • Team

    System map and outage analysis

Who talks to whom? Click a system to simulate its outage: which iFlows fail, where JMS backs up, which systems stop receiving anything – with a ranking of the single points of failure.

  • Team

    Message flow analysis

Real traffic as a Sankey diagram: sender → iFlow → receiver, with failures as a red sub-stream. Plus the strongest flows, error hotspots, growth against the previous period and load peaks.

Security

5 features

Security material, logs, dependencies and the security posture of the tenant.

  • Community

    Security Material

Credentials, OAuth clients, keystore and PGP – metadata only, with usage down to the step.

  • Pro

    Log analysis

HTTP access and error logs: status classes over time, latency percentiles, 401/403 series, load peaks – in memory only.

  • Pro

    Vulnerability check

Local inventory of JARs and script imports; checked against OSV.dev only when you explicitly ask, with a preview before anything is sent.

  • Team

    Security Risk Radar

Security posture of tenant and iFlow in eight dimensions, with history and drill-down to the exact location in the editor.

  • CommunityIn the works

    Privacy guard

Finds email addresses, IBANs, card and phone numbers, dates of birth and tax IDs before they end up in an export or with Ask Tailor, and masks them.

Learning with the Coach

4 features

A step-by-step build plan, a check against the open iFlow and a learning path that remembers where you are – stored locally, topics and scores only.

  • Coach

    Implementation Coach

Describe a scenario or open an iFlow: the Coach lays out a build plan from sender to documentation, each step with the why, best practice and typical mistakes. Rule-based without AI, tailored to your scenario with Ask Tailor.

  • Coach

    Live check against the iFlow

With an iFlow open, the Coach checks for each step what is done, open or problematic – the next step is at the top.

  • Coach

    Learning path and flashcards

Your most frequent gaps, the trend of your review scores and short lessons with examples. Only rule IDs, topics, scores and timestamps are stored – locally, and you can delete them.

  • Coach

    Versioning advisor

Is a new version worth it now? A comparison with the last version, a suggestion of major, minor or patch with reasoning and a changelog. You still do the saving.

Ask Tailor

4 features

The AI assistant that uses your own model – only after opt-in, with masking before anything is sent.

  • Pro

    Ask Tailor

18 tasks in four groups: explain errors, find the cause of a run, predict a message, suggest Groovy and mappings, interface specification, operations manual, test cases – with your own model.

  • Pro

    Advisor in the views

Ask Tailor where the question comes up: in the monitor, in error analysis, in the review, in the runner, on the adapter and on the changelog.

  • ProBeta

    iFlow from requirements

Describe the integration in your own words, Ask Tailor drafts it, iFlowTailor builds and checks the iFlow and, once you confirm, creates it in the package – not deployed.

  • ProIn the works

    Why is field X empty?

Follows a field, header or property through Content Modifiers, scripts, mappings and ProcessDirect – optionally with the trace of a run – to the link where the value gets lost.

Team and rollout

4 features

Shared standards, your own rules and rollout through your IT’s browser policy.

  • Community

    Command palette and audit log

Ctrl/Cmd+K takes you to any iFlow and any view. Every write action is recorded in the local audit log – including cancellations and blocks.

  • Team

    Policy Studio

Put together and test a team policy: naming, rules, severities, blocked actions, AI endpoints, minimum score. Export for the browser policy.

  • Team

    Custom review rules

Rules with a condition builder and live test, as a safe JSONLogic subset or XPath – no eval.

  • Enterprise

    Central rollout

Extension, licence and policy via Intune, GPO or Google Admin; users cannot change the policy. Plus a support SLA and help with the rollout.

Frequently asked

Questions about the features.

What does “Beta” mean for a feature?
The feature is built and covered by automated tests, but it uses an interface of the SAP web UI that SAP does not document as a public API – or a write path we have not yet confirmed on a real tenant. We confirm this together with our first customers. We say so because it is true.
Do I need API access or a service key for the features?
For almost everything, no: iFlowTailor reads through your existing browser session. Only the Groovy Runner and older versions in the version history need a service key; for on-premise targets, the Test Studio needs a relay iFlow that you import yourself.
Does iFlowTailor work with Neo and Cloud Foundry?
iFlowTailor recognises the SAP Integration Suite tenant in your browser and works with what can be read there. Whether individual views work fully on your tenant is quickest to find out in a demo on your tenant.
What language is the user interface in?
English (default) and German, switchable in the settings.
What does “In the works” mean?
The feature is built and covered by automated tests, but it is not part of any released version and has so far only been checked with test data. Scope, edition and date may still change before the release. We show these features because they show where iFlowTailor is heading – not as a promise.
